This is our direct-client opening for a .Net Applications Developer located in Tucson, AZ. This is a full-time, contract OR contract-to-hire position and our client will provide relocation assistance to those who are not local and are applying to be considered for a full-time role. The hourly rates and salary range will depend on experience level.
POSITION
Summary:
This position reviews, analyzes, and modifies software systems as assigned, including coding, testing, debugging, and documenting. The job holder works in a team environment under the direction of technical leads and project management and makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices. Independent judgment is encouraged, but unusual problems are referred to the supervisor. This position is principally responsible for development associated with web applications and web-based interfaces.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES):
Designs, develops, and maintains applications and modular web-based tools, both internal and client-facing, working with the technical leads. Focuses on software quality by performing code reviews, helping to generate test suites, and writing documentation.
Provides technical support regarding application usage for internal business units.
Provides occasional training on the design and proper usage of new and existing web based solutions.
Provides feedback and validation on program effectiveness and efficiency throughout the lifetime of the application.
Demonstrates a continued commitment to professional education and industry best practices.
Effectively manages time and competing priorities to meet objectives and project deadlines.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures commonly used in the development of web-based applications.
Familiarity with Microsoft environments and JavaScript frameworks including but not limited to jQuery.
Familiarity with common configurations and settings within IIS.
Familiarity with C#, ASP.NET, Visual Studio, and the Microsoft .NET framework.
Strong familiarity with HTML, XML and JSON.
Exposure to alternative programming languages is a plus but not required.
Familiarity using source control software.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or directly related field; two (2) years of progressively responsible experience developing web-based applications, specifically using the Microsoft.NET framework; or any equivalent combination of directly related education and experience.
Programming experience with C#, HTML, XML, JSON, ASP.NET, T-SQL. Solid foundational knowledge and experience in Microsoft environments.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
