Senior Trade Compliance Counsel
The candidate will be reporting directly to Vice President, Legal/General Counsel of business unit for company. Will involve full range of export/import compliance to include working with the Global Trade Compliance Office (GTC) to ensure that there is consistent legal governance and oversight of trade compliance matters in the business unit. Interface with Senior Leadership on trade compliance matters and supervise other compliance specialists as required. Under the direction of the General Counsel of the business, and in collaboration with and under the guidance of the GTC, the candidate will be responsible for ensuring that trade compliance incidents are promptly discovered and resolved and that the root cause of problems is identified and rectified with meaningful corrective actions. Also ensure that corporate policies and procedures are implemented and will assist and advise internal customers on matters pertaining to trade compliance. Be an active participant with the GTC personnel and with other Senior Trade Compliance lawyers, specialists, EXIM Operations personnel and other business and functional leaders across the company to help ensure uniform trade compliance practices. Provide strategic business advice to internal clients regarding trade compliance issues and will drive a culture of compliance excellence within the business unit.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
