Randstad is currently recruiting for a direct hire position with a growing company in Tucson, AZ. This position will be responsible for troubleshooting control systems used on automated assembly equipment, as well as assistant the automation engineer in the design/ implementation/ documentation of control solutions. This position requires strong project management skills, effective communication skills, self-direction and have the ability to multi-task and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
Candidates WILL BE REQUIRED to perform the following duties:
- Perform Allen Bradley PLC control level issue diagnosis using ladder logic.
- Familiarity with RSLogix 5000, RSLogix 500 and RSLINX.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and ladder logic.
- Be responsible for incident follow-up, root cause analysis and documentation
- Preventive Maintenance
- Repair machines and auxiliary equipment
- Maintain spare parts inventory and supplies required for P.M. program and daily operation.
- Troubleshoot / teach GE Fanuc robots
Working hours: Varies
Candidates who apply SHOULD HAVE the following
Qualifications:
--Rockwell Software training
--Electrical, Hydraulic and mechanical knowledge, preferably in dealing with a manufacturing environment.
--GE/FANUC training
--Advanced computer skills.
--Orientation training
--Technical degree or military electrical/electronic training
--Minimum of 3 years' experience in industrial mechanical or electrical field
--Must have a safety conscience work ethic.
--Able to work overtime and be on call status.
--Ability to lift 50 lbs.
