Summary:
The Programmer/Analyst has advanced proficiency in programming, database knowledge and concepts.
They can create interface screens to collect data or populate a form, test the input for accuracy, and update the core system.
The Programmer/Analyst will complete tasks with a high level of accomplishment and collaboration involving management, staff and vendor support when necessary.
Also responsible for code documentation and processes to enable the ease of future modifications and troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in in Computer Science, Information Systems, Math or related degree, or equivalent work experience Three (3) years procedural programming experience (Ada, COBOL, Perl, RPG, etc.

Power On and Symform PDF Experience with PowerFrame Suite (Batch, Docs,Editor,Microapps,Mobile,Screens) Experience with Java, JavaScript, HTML, C, C++, C#, SOAP UI Financial industry experience Experience with SQL programming Minimum Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
Advanced understanding of programming and logic functions (multi-dimensional arrays, HTML input forms, SymConnect, SymXchange, field validations, etc).
Knowledge of good coding practices and standards, code refactoring, and service-oriented architecture Ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of people Ability to learn and attain a solid grasp of the Power On language Ability to deal effectively and courteously with a wide variety of people Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey information to non-technical colleagues in a clear and concise way Ability to deliver on multiple processes and tasks simultaneously Works with minimal oversight as an individual and as a member of a team to research and satisfy requests.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES AND TASKS:

Technical Expertise - Research and analyze submitted request, draft functional requirements and gain customer sign-off on requirements.
Tackles large or complicated requests (module changes, Symforms, SymForm PDF, file maintenance, etc.
) with a high level of accomplishment and accuracy.
Able to concurrently deliver on 1-2 small-scale initiatives in addition to tasks on customer request backlog.
Will have expertise and business knowledge in at least one aspect of the core application (modules, disparate processes/applications, source code escrow, batch operations, etc.

Best Practices - Adheres to standards, best practices, policies, and procedures pertaining to architecture, security, and compliance/regulatory requirements.
Participates in code reviews to advance domain knowledge sharing and ensure code validation.

Fosters a collaborative relationship across all functions.
Works closely with end user departments to understand business requirements and translate them into specific software requirements for modeling and analytics.
4.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Salary range is $62,707.

Final salary is dependent on candidate's experience and qualifications.
