Must reside in the State of Arizona - Fully Remote role Ability to work remotely but available to travel to company locations in Arizona.
The Network Operations Associate will be responsible for designing, managing, monitoring, and maintaining our Fixed Wireless, Fiber, and Docsis Cable networks as well as any Internal Employee IT Needs.
This position requires a strong understanding of telecommunications and network technology to deliver Internet Service as well as some Server and Desktop management and support.
This position will manage Tiers 3 techs and will be the point of escalation, and subject matter expert.
Solid leadership, attention to detail, and being highly motivated are a must.
Ability to work remotely but available to travel to company locations in Arizona.
KEY
Responsibilities:
Responds to escalations from the Customer Service and Field Departments.
Assists Employees with any IT needs.
Onboarding and Offboarding.
Design, Management, Maintaining, and Monitoring our Network and Server Infrastructure.
Conduct research on emerging products, services, protocols, and standards to improve our service offerings.

Experience implementing and managing Microsoft SharePoint with an understanding of overall architecture, hierarchy, and administration.
Understanding of networking concepts and Windows Server Operating Systems Participate in the design and implementation of new technologies to support the Windows server and workstation environments.
Set up and configuration of new computers, including the installation of application software Experience with Calix Virtualization Infrastructure Maintenance (VMWare).
Linux-based OS system administration/maintenance.
Experience, building and deploying Linux servers and applications for authentication, DNS and monitoring.
Such as FreeRadius, Bind and other service provider applications Experience implementing monitoring solutions such as LibreNMS, Cacti, Weathermap and Zabbix.
Experience with SNMPv1-3 monitoring and management tools Experience with network configuration automation (Scripting with Pearl/Python/Bash) Practical experience related to LAN, WAN, WLAN, VLAN, VPN, MPLS and high availability/multipath/redundant routers, switches and firewalls in large Service Provider network Support network protocols such as:
BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, HSRP, VLAN,TCP/IP, MPLS, STP, IPv4, subnetting, routing and switching Comprehensive knowledge of L2-L7 technologies-VLANs/VLAN tagging, VTP, Spanning Tree, EtherChannel, and Port Channel Experience level knowledge of IP networking, L2/L3 network protocols, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, routing, SNMP, Radius.
Hands-on experience with Virtualization technologies, VMware ESXi,vSphere, vSAN, vCenter Experience implementing monitoring solutions such as LibreNMS, Cacti, Weathermap and Zabbix.
Experience with SNMPv1-3 monitoring and management tools Additional experience with Palo Alto Networks, Juniper and Cisco, with certifications would be a significant bonus.
