Position
Summary:
As part of a hardworking team of Business Development professionals and engineers, you will help manage the RFP process from development of the strategy through proposal development and contract negotiations to drive company growth.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve short-term sales wins and to establish robust long-term advantages, positioning Paragon strategically in the market.
We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to accomplish the nation's goal to put boots on the moon in a few short years.
From leading technical strategy and customer technical discussions, to preparing clear and compelling technical responses to RFIs and RFPs leveraging our market-leading technology, you will play a direct role in the company's growth.
This position will require ongoing customer and stakeholders' interactions to identify and create opportunities and strengthen business relationships with our portfolio of customers and develop relationships with new clients as they emerge.
Participation in industry trade shows and regular travel is required.
The candidate must be capable of working beyond the typical 8-hour workday and 40-hour work week as necessary.
This position directly supports the business development department and spending nearly 100% of daily time in an office environment.
Description of Duties:
Develop, execute, and manage business pursuits, strategies, and proposals in cooperation with management teams to win new and follow-on business Create and manage proposals and customer negotiations to achieve sales/ gross margin objectives Identify potential industry teammates Organize and/or participate in technical meetings for internal and external representatives to develop strategies and manage pursuits Interface and collaborate with engineering, technology, and senior management Perform other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to network including leadership level in the aerospace industry Agile, extrovert, diplomatic, a good listener, a good presenter/promoter Ability to learn Paragon's product and technology portfolio quickly Preferred knowledge and experience in one or more of the following discipline areas:
Aerospace Vehicle Systems, ECLSS, Crew Systems, Crew Cabin design, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Thermal Systems Knowledge of proposal process Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting for proposals Skilled in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, MS Project) Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment Ability to work independently once a task has been assigned Ability to effectively communicate in both spoken and written form Ability to establish and maintain effective, positive work relationships; have creativity, flexibility and resourcefulness; have discriminating judgment, tact and, sense of humor Engineering or technical degree preferred Recommended Skills Active Listening Aerospace Engineering Aerospace Industries Agile Methodology Business Development Business Management Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
