Summary:
Involta is looking for an energetic and customer-focused Operations Assistant to join our growing team.
The Operations Assistant plays a vital role in the customer's experience at Involta as they are often the first point of contact with our customers.
In addition, the Operations Assistant, while under general supervision, will provide administrative support along with clerical tasks for the Data Center Operations group, customers, staff and/or contractors.
This is a full-time position, located in Tucson, AZ and will require the ability to work out of our facility, as needed.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
oResponds to security gate calls oManages a ticket queue and escalate issues to appropriate team members oManages ordering and stocking of office and break room supplies oPerforms immediate cleaning duties necessary to maintain a clean and safe facility oPerforms other maintenance duties as assigned by the Director of Data Center Operations oResponsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments.
This includes preparation of outgoing packages, return shipments and receipt of deliveries.
oManages bi-annual physical access audits for colocation customers oManages conference room reservations requested by internal team members or by customers oCreates purchase orders and places material orders with vendors oAssists with coordinating planned PM events with DC Manager oHandles new customer security registration for physical access to facility oHandles temporary badging for visitors/vendors/contractors oSupports escort of visitors/vendors per ticket request, as needed oAssists with documenting circuit handoffs utilizing DC Operations cross connect record workbook oAssists with document management and quality assurance for all DC Operations information oChecks PO Box at least weekly and sorts/delivers mail to everyone in the office oStays current with Data Center training on processes and procedures as they are created or revised and as directed by the Director of Data Center Operations oAbility to support Data Center Audits and Certifications oAdditional duties, as assigned The above statements cover what are generally believed to be the principal and essential functions of this job.

RequirementsRequirements:

years of customer service experience oProficient with Microsoft Office applications oEffectively communicate, orally and in writing oUnderstand and follow oral and written instructions oAbility to prioritize and manage multi-functional tasks oAbility to work effectively under pressure, and against strict time constraints oAbility to work individually or as a team member in a cooperative work environment Working Conditions:
oOffice based with access to areas of the data center oRegularly lifting up to 20 pounds Travel Requirements:
oMust be able to travel to various work-sites on demand Information Security:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
