We are searching for a Development Director to guide the strategic planning processes within the development department.
In addition to leadership of the Development function within JPSA and management of the Development team, the Development Director will be responsible for stewarding and soliciting gifts from major and mid-level donors.
In other words, the Development Director will ensure the organization's development efforts are robust and successful.
The Successful Candidate For This Role Will Possess:
A Bachelor's degree in a related field; Masters degree preferred.
A minimum of six years of experience in active fundraising, successfully soliciting four-figure donations or more and planned giving.
A minimum of four years of experience in a management capacity, with responsibility for full staff supervision including responsibilities for hiring, appraising, corrective action, and terminations.
A minimum of four years department leadership including budget development, monitoring, and reporting.
Experience working with and/or being engaged in the Jewish community.
Masterful skill in establishing rapport, relationship building, leadership, and influence.
Ability to communicate convincingly, with or without prior notice, in written or oral form, privately or publicly, regardless of the audience size.
The emotional intelligence, maturity, and sound judgment necessary for interacting with donors of influence and affluence, as well as board members, staff, and volunteers.

Compensation:
$107,605 - $110,705 Recommended Skills Communication Corrective And Preventive Action (Capa) Financial Management Fundraising Interpersonal Skills Leadership Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
