OVERVIEWResponsible for the day-to-day maintenance of facilities of the Casa Alitas Program to assure safety and cleanliness within the program sites.
The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our physical work environment.
Collaborate with various teams and external vendors to maintain optimal conditions and ensure that our facilities meet the needs of our employees and guests.
Position may from time to time be stressful and require a high demand of performance.
May perform other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Perform regular inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and areas for improvement.
Manage relationships with contractors, suppliers, and service providers (including facilities security) to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services.
Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program to ensure the ongoing functionality, cleanliness, safety and appearance of all spaces and facilities.
Collaborate with site leads and leadership to understand space requirements and plan for efficient space utilization.
Maintain accurate records of safety and maintenance inspections and issues, and communicate all issues with leadership.
Identify and evaluate vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure high-quality and cost-effective services.
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to maintain emergency supplies, equipment, and communication systems.
Responsible for managing the program inventory of supplies and equipment at multiple locations.
Complete facility assessment on a regular basis to identify and request facility repairs and improvements.
Adhere to all donor, funder, and stakeholder regulations, including report completion as assigned by the Program Director Demonstrate cultural competency through self-awareness to identify and eliminate any biases; demonstrate awareness and respect for dynamics of differences; demonstrate ongoing learning of different cultures and adaptation.
May drive agency or personal vehicle on company business.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSSuitable work experience may be considered as transferable skills in order to meet minimum requirements of the position and will be considered by the Corporate Director of Human Resources.
High School Diploma or GED 2 years of experience in facilities coordination or relevant position English, verbal and written Excellent organizational and leadership skills Proven strong communication skills - oral, and written are clear, concise, and in an organized fashion using appropriate style, grammar, and tone Proven knowledge of numbers, their operations, and interrelationships Proven record of excellent customer service and teamwork REGULATORY Must be at least 18 years of age Valid driver license, proof of insurance, and 39-month motor vehicle report Ability to obtain and maintain Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card and FBI National Criminal Records History Report (employer paid) Pass pre-employment drug screen (incudes marijuana, regardless of recreational use laws) (employer paid) DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor Degree in related field Additional years of directly-related experience The above statement reflects the general duties considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job as identified and shall not be considered a detailed description of all work requirements that may be inherent in the job.
