Working at the Tucson Surgery Center located at 2121 N Craycroft Road, Tucson, AZ 85712What you'll do:
The Surgical Technologist assists in the care of the surgical patient applying principles of asepsis to perform scrub duties and related activities for surgical procedures, arranging and inventorying sterile set-up for operations and passing items to doctors and nurses as needed and assists in preparing and moving patients and in cleaning the operating theater.
Works under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.

Required:
Completion of accredited Surgical Technician program OR- 2 years of on-the-job training OR- 7 years of experience working in the field OR- Military training program with 2 years surgical tech experience Licenses/Certifications:
Required:
BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)Preferred:
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Tech in Surgery-Certified (TS-C) Northwest Medical Center is a 300-bed hospital offering a full range of healthcare services including emergency services, accredited chest pain and heart failure programs, neurology and neurosurgery, outpatient imaging, a nationally accredited surgical weight loss program, total joint program, spine program and stroke center (recognized with Gold Seal designations by The Joint Commission), robotic surgery, GI lab, a free-standing women's center, inpatient rehabilitation facility, wound care center, five urgent care facilities, and three ambulatory surgery centers.
