Responsibilities:
Defining and executing a sales plan.
Prospecting for potential new customers and opportunities.
Managing a sales funnel / following up on quotations.
Forecasting orders/sales monthly.
Generating and storing market intel that will support long-term business decisions.
CRITICAL ATTRIBUTES:
Natural leader who has an independent lifestyle that takes ownership and requires little direction.
An ability to build positive business relationships and reach decision makers.
Consistent, effective prospecting.
Effective at questioning and listening.
High personal motivation with a strong desire to succeed.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
Demonstrated ability to achieve sales plan/targets - business development experience, Preferably heavy metal manufacturing or engineering.
Experience sales forecasting and budgeting.
Phone, email, and live prospecting.
Relationship development.
Strong communication skills.
Bachelor's degree is preferred with a focus in sales, marketing, business administration, Manufacturing, engineering (experience will be considered in lieu of education).
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
This position works in a manufacturing environment.
This position operates in a shop floor and office environment.
Involves:
long periods of shop floor activities, frequent stooping, and bending This position routinely uses standard office equipment.
