The main function of an embedded software engineer is to apply the principles of computer science and mathematical analysis to the design, development, testing, and evaluation of the embedded software and systems that make computers workA typical embedded software engineer research, designs, develops and tests operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, business, scientific and general computing applicationsJob
Responsibilities:
o Design and implement software of embedded devices and systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment for product lineso Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptionso Analyze and enhance efficiency, stability and scalability of system resourceso Review project requests describing database user needs to estimate time and cost required to accomplish project.
Education & Experience Required:
o Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field requiredo 2-4 years experience requiredTechnical Skills :
(Required)4 or more years of industry embedded software development experience2 or more years of embedded C language programming(Desired) Matlab/Simulink experienceExperience with the following tools:
Git, ClearCase, Trace 32 Debugger, CANalyzerExperience working with and troubleshooting electrical systemsKnowledge of diesel engine control and operationStrong analytical skillsPrior work experience with CAN/SAE J1939Prior work experience with Engine or Machine software developmentExperience with scripting languages such as Python.
Soft SkillsGood communications skills, Desire to work in a fast paced, team environment, Ability to use PC tools such as MSOffice, VisioThanks & Regards,Anbu.
