Overview VTG is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer III located onsite in Tucson, AZProvide Systems Engineering support to Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) Surface Missile Technical Representative (Tech Rep) Office, Tucson supporting the IWS 3, IWS-11, IWS-12, and AEGIS BMD Program OfficesThis position will be located at Raytheon Missile Defense campus, Tucson ArizonaDuties include providing systems engineering and management support to the Tech Rep, which entails supporting all programmatic and technical efforts to integrate SM-2/3/6, RAM, ESSM, and other new missile programs as requiredDuties also include providing technical support in the area of Surface Weapons Test Equipment and Production Test EquipmentThis position requires frequent communication and collaboration with other government and industry partnersThe candidate will be responsible for mitigating daily challenges while working with functional leadership, program leadership, and internal/external customersThe candidate will participate in determining objectives of assignments, plans, schedules and will arrange their own activities in accomplishing objectivesAs part of this activity, the candidate will perform Systems Engineering duties and utilize systems thinking approach in developing solutions to a variety of problemsWhat will you do?o Supports and makes assessments of systems modeling, simulation, and analysis.
o Prepare and distribute planning, presentation, and follow-up documentation for systems engineering and test.
o Monitor and verify progress of demonstrations and certifications; provide recommendation for hardware diagnoses, failure investigations; attend Failure Review Boards (FRBs) and Configuration Control Boards (CCBs)and conduct engineering review of changes as required.
o Participates in the upgrading of operating systems and design of system enhancementsSupports algorithm, firmware, and software design peer reviews and functional test efforts.
o Coordinate the execution of system engineering reviews in accordance with DOD Instruction 5000.
02 and the NAVSEA Technical Review ManualLeader in the Technical Review Team (TRT) processo Provides input for documentation on new or existing systems and review engineering development documentation.
o Work with designers and integration engineers to identify, analyze, and resolve operating/hardware system problems.
o Provides system/equipment/specialized training and technical guidance as required.
o Review system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.
o Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
o Participates in special projects as required.
o Generates technical reports and white papers.
o Review and analyze released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities.
o Ensures that customer and internal configuration management requirements are implemented.
o Maintain government records of configuration management activities.
o Witness and provide technical assessment for integration activities, qualification test, and test readiness reviews for surface weapon test equipmentDo you have what it takes? Required skills:

SCitizenshipo Bachelor's Degree in Engineering;o 10 years of professional experience in Systems Engineering.
o Experience with modern missile design preferredo Knowledge of systems engineering principles, methods, and techniques.
o Knowledge of the associated hardware, software, and equipmento Professional certification in one or more specific technologies may be required, depending on job assignment.
o Good understanding of technology and computing tools (Product Data Management or PDM tools, SAP or similar)o The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environmento Required knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and/or other pertinent software applications.
o Must obtain and maintain at a minimum a U.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
