Job Description:
As a production team member who specializes in fabric you will perform a combination of production assembly tasks using hand tools, small power tools, and other special equipment following detailed instructions, processes, and procedures (written and verbal) to meet and exceed customer and company expectations.
You will pull fabric rolls, spread the fabric onto table in preparation of cutting, inspect fabrics for imperfections, cut fabric on an automated cutting table per job specs, weld fabric pockets, zippers, and seams of fabric depending on shade style, as well as deliver fabric to assembly.
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret specifications and diagrams Operate within standard operating procedures and Job Safety.
Teamwork - working a building with other team members to complete daily goals Display professionalism in the workplace.
Qualifications:
Be reliable and punctual.
Outstanding work ethic.
Be able to read a tape measure.
Willing to learn with the ambition and drive to strive for excellence & top product quality.
Ability to adhere to all company policies and procedures Work well under pressure and can meet deadlines Work well independently, as well as in a team setting Requirements:
Requires a high school diploma/GED.
Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment recommended but not needed.
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
Demonstrates attention to detail.
Ability to read, communicate, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, in the English Language.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to work with machinery and moving parts Ability to properly lift/carry/push/pull/manipulate/transport up to 75LBS SHIFTS:
