This position is under the direct supervision of the Facilities Management Specialist. The position works with the Housekeeping Team Leader to provide a clean and safe environment at our Community Resource Center; cleans and sanitizes offices and restrooms; cleans fixtures, mirrors, furnishings; sweep/mop floors, vacuum carpets; strip, wax and buff floors; check/refill paper towels, soap dispensers and tissue rolls; clean walls, doors and windows; removes trash; cleans walkways and entries; maintains cleaning equipment; operates powered housekeeping equipment.
NOTE: Employment is contingent upon completion of a post-offer medical/physical examination and the agency's ability to reasonably accommodate any restrictions.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSA):
Knowledge of: cleaning and sanitizing procedures; stripping and waxing floors; chemical reactions when mixing and using cleaning agents; safety procedures.
Skill in: reading and writing; operating cleaning equipment; sanitizing and deodorizing all types of surfaces.
Ability to: understand instructions; prioritize and time tasks; operate carpet and floor machines.
