This is a Full-Time position working on the Night shift.
the RN selected for this role evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care.
Assists physicians during examinations and procedures.
Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of tasks.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Associate's Degree in Nursing or Diploma Program required.
BSN preferred.
Experience:
Sufficient previous clinical experience in area of expertise.
Licenses/Certifications:
Required - Current Arizona RN license or compact state license BLS Basic Cardiac & ACLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) Northwest Medical Center Houghton is a 52-bed, full-service hospital serving Tucson's east side.
With a cath lab, labor and delivery unit, intensive care and neonatal intensive care units, full lab and radiology services and four operating rooms supporting a broad array of specialties, Northwest Medical Center Houghton holds plenty of opportunity for applicants.
