This is a multi-faceted role and assumes responsibility for managing products in both upstream and downstream activities.
Ideal candidates are exceptional communicators (presentation, verbal, and written) with strong listening skills and are excited about the growing GI medical device field.
Our next Associate Product Manager will build relationships with GI Physicians in the clinical setting, leveraging their emotional intelligence as they effectively obtain feedback and share it with various teams within our company including product, market development, clinical research & development specialists, quality engineers, project, and product management resources.
As we are a small, rapidly growing company, it's critical our next APM has a natural tendency to move toward the work, takes initiative to solve problems, rolls up their sleeves to get the job done, and can demonstrate a proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment with a sense of urgency.
You will bring unwavering professionalism to your interactions with internal and external key stakeholders as you liaise between senior medical professionals and internal colleagues across level and function.
Our selected candidate will report to our Senior Product Manager and will work closely with VPs and Directors to support products.

This position is field-based, meaning you have a home office and are ready to travel up to 30% of the time; proximity to a major airport hub is an advantage.

Your responsibilities will include:
Support the development of product launch plans, participate in product evaluations, develop relationships, and identify early adopters.
Conduct customer/market research to identify customer needs, improve processes, new market opportunities, and future business development.
Work with R&D, Production, and Quality Engineers to design and build new products and features or improve existing solutions.
Support marketing campaigns, sales tools, and program development, including market analysis and sales analytics.
Create innovative product messaging and positioning; develop and execute positioning strategies for new and existing products.
Research and analyze product sales and positioning, the market, industry, potential, and competitor trends for the business area.
Contribute to and train Sales on products, positioning, and messaging.
Provide frequent updates to the field:
product-related information and competitor activities.
Analyze product line performance from both quantitative and qualitative standpoints; make recommendations for product life cycle management.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Eligibility Criteria:
BA/BS degree required; MBA preferred.

years' experience in the U.

medical device field in product management.

year of experience in social media marketing activities such as email campaigns and organizing virtual events (online education or training) Preference given to candidates with SAP experience Preference given to candidates with experience in gastroenterology devices/products.
Demonstrable ability to use creative talent, strategic planning, innovative thinking, and pragmatic solutions.
Exceptional oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to adapt communication style to accommodate diverse audiences Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Digital Marketing, CRM, and database resources.
Essential Functions of the Job:
This job requires approximately 30% travel which will entail travel via airplane and automobile, as well as overnight stays.
A portion of the work week will be spent in the employee's home office sitting, working at a computer, talking and listening via video conference and telephone.
Some essential responsibilities will be performed at customer sites, standing for extended periods in GI labs, talking, listening, and writing.
The job requires regular visits to medical facilities.
These facilities have specific standards that vendor representatives must meet to gain access, including drug, background, and health screening.
Employment is contingent on your compliance with these standards.
