Job Description:
As a Specialist, Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for tasks across a broad range of electrical engineering disciplines including the design, test and integration of CCAs containing analog, digital, power and high-speed circuits, along with supporting cables and wiring harnesses all targeting advanced tactical UAV platforms, sensors, and avionics.
The Advanced Systems & Technologies (AS&T) division is a part of L3Harris' Agile Development Group and specializes in developing disruptive, next-generation technologies for advanced Unmanned Air Systems (UAS / UAV), advanced radar systems, next-generation weapon systems, and other RF sensor technologies using small company agility and big company experience.
Essential Functions:
Perform simulation, bread-boarding and testing electrical circuits and functions Develop and implement test plans and procedures for electrical subsystems Perform and report results of test and evaluation of electrical CCAs Present results in internal & external design reviews Learn and follow company processes for product development, configuration management, purchasing, etc.
Ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearances as required Other duties as required Ability to lift up to 25 pounds Up to 10% travel may be required
Qualifications:

Citizen Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
Prior experience testing and troubleshooting CCAs Prior bread-boarding and testing experience Experience with electrical CAD tools:
Simulation, Modeling, Schematic Capture, etc.
Lab skills and experience.
Experience using Microsoft Office products Preferred Additional Skills:
Experience working in the defense industry Analog, power or RF design experience Matlab, C++, Python, or other programming language.
Experience in Altium Designer Advanced Engineering Degree Excellent people skills to include collaborating in a multi-disciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team environment.
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, & presentation) Recommended Skills Altium Designer Breads C+
(Programming Language) Communication Configuration Management Electrical Cad Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
