To apply, please send cover letter and resume to Josh Shenker at email protected Overview The Director of Arts for All provides vision, leadership, and overall management and oversight of the Arts for All Program, a full-day program for adults with disabilities.
Key aspects of this role include being present and being the warm and welcoming face of Arts for All, ensuring innovative and dynamic programming, and exceeding expectations while meeting the needs of the program participants and their families.
A primary function of this and every other job at the J is to ensure by whatever rational and legal means necessary that each member, guest, and visitor leaves the J feeling just a little better than when they arrived.
Position
Responsibilities:
Will serve as the Director for the program, responsible for the development, planning, and implementation of the program.
This includes being present and being the warm and welcoming head of the program.
Run all day-to-day operations of the Arts for All program Oversee program development for Arts for All Hire, train, and supervise all Arts for All staff Monitor and maintain all records for participants in Arts for All Represent the Arts for All program on the J's Tzevet (program leadership) team Develop and monitor the Arts for All budget within the J budget process Will work with the Communication Department to develop a marketing plan for storytelling, publicity, and recruitment Will communicate and interact with parents (and program participants) and work collaboratively with other JCC departments.
Will attend all staff meetings and fulfill other responsibilities as assigned.

years' supervisory experience 5+years' experience working with individuals with disabilities, including programmanagement Strongpassion for the arts and arts education Strongorganizational and administrative skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Knowledge of Jewish culture, traditions, and community Extensivecustomer service skills Salary:
