Intermediate Process Engineer - Tucson
We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Intermediate Process Engineer to be based in our Tucson office that is ready to provide solutions for our mining and industrial projects.
Someone with a Copper SXEW and Heap Leach background with experience in studies, construction, commissioning and operations will be well suited for this role.
About the role Leading process design during studies, basic and detailed engineering project phases Provide technical support of process design work including calculations, drawings and testwork Budget and resource forecast management for the process study scope Interface with other engineering disciplines to deliver best practice process design Liaise and contribute to the Global Ausenco Process Team Expected to stay abreast of latest process technology developments Design innovation / lean thinking into process designs Represent Ausenco's Corporate image (marketing and conferences) Demonstrate leadership in industry safety protocols About You At least 5-10 years of mineral processing experience with Copper SXEW, preferably with proven field experience (construction, commissioning and/or operations) Experience with EPCM studies and projects and a minimum of 5 years in a consulting engineering capacity Ability to effectively translate field and engineering experience to other process staff and design activities Leadership abilities including project management skills, lead design role capability and supervisory skills International experience will be favoured Demonstrated capacity to align with Ausenco's corporate culture and Client base business cultures Bachelor's degree in Mineral Processing, Extractive Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering PE registration in Arizona preferred Ausenco is a global leader in consulting, engineering, project management and operations solutions for the resources and energy sectors.
