Marketing Assistant

The Marketing Assistant provides marketing support, which may include any of the following duties or
Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
Provide customer service and training support to sales associates relating to company marketing and technology programs.
Coordinate various marketing programs.
Assist in the creation and distribution of company marketing materials including electronic newsletters and email campaigns, print materials and advertisements, direct mail pieces, presentations, social media content, press releases and vendor marketing programs.
Provide backup, consultation support and project assistance to other members of the marketing team.
Assist in processing sales associate requests for property research materials, marketing presentations and reports.
Responsible for timely submission to accounting of all sales associate/sales office charges for marketing services requested and rendered.
Maintain marketing distribution list, coordinate mailings and process applications.
Manage databases and prepare reports.
Coordinate materials necessary for career nights and other meetings.
Provide color copy support.
Manage marketing inventory items including inventory billing, fulfillment and utilization.
Order and maintain department supplies.
May assist in organizing company events.

Performs any additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.
Qualifications Education:
Two year degree in communications, marketing or related field or equivalent knowledge and experience preferred.
Experience:
Two years clerical or administrative experience Preferred:
Two plus years of related experience in a marketing department, agency or consumer-focused organization, with emphasis in sales and marketing program support.
Knowledge and Skills:
Project management and organizational skills.
Strong computer skills; proficiency in Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
Experience with desktop publishing software, websites and email contact management systems a plus Effective oral and written communication skills.
Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
Detail orientation.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
Ability to work under tight deadlines.
A customer service focus and the ability to work as a member in a team-oriented environment.
