This is not a typical warehouse position.
Candidates must be professional and able to juggle multiple tasks at once.
This position will be working directly with our sales and office staff.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Must be certified and proficient in operating a forklift and other warehouse equipment.
Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 70lbs Must be able to stand for long periods of time, and be willing to work in inclement weather.
Must be able to read and identify detailed descriptions of multiple products.
Attention to detail is vital.
Order picking experience is strongly preferred, but not required.
This position will involve Inventory assistance and warehouse assistance as needed, you may be working in multiple departments so flexibility is a must.
Must be familiar with sales systems procedures.
The candidate for this position must be willing and able to assist our sales staff with orders and customers.
Must be professional in appearance and communication.
Knowledge of shipping and receiving involving outgoing orders and incoming packages and mail is desired.
As we are a wholesale Gem and Mineral business there will be times that travel and overtime may be required for The Tucson Gem Show, and other trade shows.
Candidate must have some knowledge of basic computer systems.
This is an entry level position, but as we are a growing company, there is room for advancement.
Must have a clean criminal and driving record.
