The Visit Aide manages all aspects of child/parent/family visitations, documenting interactions between child and family, indicating both positive and negative interactions without any bias.

The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to, the following:
Document visits without bias or personal beliefs using professional documentation practices in accepted format and medium.
Ensure the safety of children at all times.
Always allow natural parent-child interactions.
Provide maximum opportunity for parent-child contact and for parents to demonstrate responsibility for the child.
Educate all parties involved of the visitation plans as well as visitation guidelines, limitations and responsibilities of all parties.
Resolve conflict and de-escalate situations effectively.
Document a child's behavior on route to the visit, the parent's reaction to the child, parent's behavior during the visit, child's reaction to seeing birth parents, child/parent separation behavior.
Ensure all visit notes are detailed, accurate, and submitted timely.
Communicate all issues to your direct Supervisor immediately.
Conduct vehicle check prior to start of day.
Other duties related to the Case Aide position.
Requirements:
1.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
2.
Successful completion of state and agency training courses including DCS online training.
3.
Successfully procure Level 1 fingerprint clearance through the Arizona Departments of Public Safety and Economic Security and independent background check.
4.
Have a clear Central Registry Background Check, which is reviewed and updated annually.
5.
Own a smart phone capable of accessing, including but not limited to:
the Internet, email, and online time and attendance system/application.
6.
Proficient in the use of a personal computer and corresponding programs;preferably experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Gmail and Google Calendar or similar web-based and computer programs.
7.
Successful confirmation of reference checks of those listed on application.
8.
Submission of recent physical examination as required by appropriate licensing authority.
(Including Drug screening).
9.
Must have a valid driver license in effect for at least 3 years, meet the insurability requirements of LifeTran Corporation and provide a 39-month safe driving record (MVR) from Department of Motor Vehicles.
1.
Driving record (MVR) from Department of Motor Vehicles can have only a maximum of two moving violations or at fault accidents in any combination in the past three years and no major moving violations within the past 3 years.
( Drivers age 22-25:
MVR should reflect no moving violations, no accidents and no major violations.

Have a safe, reliable vehicle that has adequate heating and cooling, insured at DCS mandated levels, and may be used to transport children in the event the agency vehicle is unavailable.
(Auto insurance meeting DCS minimum coverage requirements:
Injury per person:
$100,000, Injury per accident:
$300,000, and Property damage:
$25,000.
) 11.
Utilize own or agency vehicle, including 15 passenger van, for transporting children, etc.
(Mileage is reimbursed by agency when using personal vehicle).
12.
Successfully obtain, or be, CPI (Nonviolent Crisis Intervention), First Aid and CPR certified and be willing and able to keep certifications current.
13.
Must pass mandatory drug screen as required by company policy.
14.
Human Resource package completed.
15.
Obtain medical release/permission to fulfill all physical tasks should any health issue develop or emerge.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
