Apply extensive knowledge of design principles in complex systemsResponsibilities include design concept generation, participation in design reviews, development and testing for performance evaluation, reliability testing, and assessment of system interactionsMake independent decisions and contribute to the development of manufacturing processes, troubleshooting issues, and proposing engineering solutions.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and analyze root cause issues related to various large-scale electrical instruments in a regulated environment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality, Regulatory, and other departments, to assess and resolve instrument-related issues.
Conduct bench work, testing, and writing reports to identify and rectify instrument malfunctions.
Mentor and teach junior team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Provide leadership and make independent decisions to drive successful outcomes in resolving instrument issues.
Focus on on-market support and corrective action preventative action (CAPA) engineering work.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience, or equivalent
Qualifications:
4 years of related experience with a master's degree.
2 years of related experience with a Ph.
D.
Prior experience in a regulated industry, such as Aerospace, Mining, or Medical Devices, is preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on root cause analysis.
Effective communication, collaboration, and mentorship abilities.
Familiarity with electronics, software, and hardware integration.
Flexibility to work on-site in Tucson, Arizona.
EducationBachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or related field.
