Responsibilities:
A Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a warehouse and monitoring the productivity of its staff.
Warehouse Supervisors often work in busy environments where priorities can change at a moment's notice, so an ability to multitask is and delegate is essential with this role.
Important Warehouse Supervisor job duties and responsibilities include:
Overseeing receiving and dispatching procedures for shipments Assigning workloads and daily tasks to Warehouse Associates Communicating with customers to answer shipping and receiving questions and troubleshoot problems Monitoring inventory and shipment transactions for accuracy Ensuring inventory and storage areas are clean and maintained Maintain operation labor standards.
Responsible for keeping the work area, and monitor basic preventive maintenance of the equipment.
Train, develop, evaluate staff as necessary Oversee and monitor all safety initiatives in the warehouse area.
Monitoring Warehouse Associates to ensure safety procedures are being followed when operating forklifts and other machinery Skill and Experience Requirements:

years as a Supervisor/Manager in manufacturing environment.
Computer literacy Ability to multitask and motivate employees is essential.
Must have knowledge and experience with utilizing various types of machinery.
Excellent organization and analytical skills along with demonstrating a strong work ethic and superior technical abilities.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
