Summary:


In Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) we integrate, verify, and validate our products. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. To accomplish this, we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work hand-in-hand with our customers.


The Strategic Missile Defense (SMD) and Advanced Weapons department within the Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) Discipline is searching for a guidance section integration and test lead. This position is responsible for leading a team of engineers planning and executing the integration and qualification test of a new state of the art guidance section assembly in the Advanced Technology Strategic Business Unit. The candidate must have prior experience in the areas of missile system integration and test.


Responsibilities to Anticipate:


  • Lead a multidiscipline team of engineers and technicians.
  • Act as Control Account Manager (CAM) for the team's budget and schedule by coordinating with program planning, finance, & stakeholders to implement Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Develop and the required integration/qualification plans and procedures.
  • Ensure all technical requirements are met or mitigated.
  • Oversee and be responsible for the activities of the team members including communication, technical excellence, and execution performance.
  • Collaborate and communicate with other IPTs both inside of SI&T and across the program.

Basic
Qualifications:


Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.


  • Experience with weapon system engineering and integration.
  • Experience developing integration/qualification & test plans and procedures.
  • Experience with the Estimate at Complete (EAC) process.

  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
    U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred
Qualifications:


  • Prior experience with missile system test and integration and lab integration
  • Knowledge of qualification and environmental testing
  • EVMS certification and experience.
  • Experience guiding a team of engineers.
  • Experience interacting with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience managing projects and a diverse team.
  • Experience in implementing business and program improvements through process improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with business capturing/proposals.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
