Marketing Coordinator

MARKETING COORDINATOR
Position
Summary:
The marketing coordinator position will assist the marketing team in the implementation of all marketing activities, working closely with sales to increase brand awareness and ultimately increase business leads. This is an entry level marketing position.
Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with the team to develop communications strategy and key messages
Manage marketing campaigns, projects, and initiatives
Create and update communications material, including brochures, promotions, print advertisements, direct mail, email, and web content, serving as copywriter and editor for these materials
Build and manage email campaigns, landing pages, and contact lists using marketing automation software
Update the company web site, identifying information needs and developing new content
Coordinate social media activity
Track and report measures of success using marketing automation software, web analytics, and social media reporting software
Organize company participation at conferences, prepare material and conducting follow-up activities
Collaborate with sales to identify needs and create effective marketing material
Plan events, including venue location, speaker recruitment, and promotional activities
Research, write and edit blog posts
Research marketing best-practices and make recommendations for effective strategies
Minimum
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field. Some work experience or internship in a marketing role is preferred.
Candidates Should Possess the Following Skills:
Excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing
Knowledgeable on current email marketing strategies, communication trends, and general marketing best practices
Strong organizational and project management skills to manage multiple deadlines
Strong attention to detail, accuracy and consistency
Skilled in critical thinking, analysis and problem solving
Strong computer and software learning skills (knowledge of MS Outlook, WordPress, web analytics, CRM, and marketing automation software will be helpful)
Ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of people in the company
Ability to conduct research, analyze results, and make changes
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong presentation skills
