Producation Support Engineer

This successful, national company is seeking a goal-drive, Production Support Engineer to support a busy and diverse community ranging from internal software development and testing to external users of production services. This is a dynamic workplace and the right candidate will support, monitor, enhance and control the production, test and develop operational environments encompassing hardware, operating system, database system and application software processing.
Skills and Responsibilities
Significant expertise with Windows Server 2008 R2 and 2012/R2 including clustering Experience supporting virtual machine environments based on VMware vSphere, including clustering, HA, permissions and controls. Working knowledge of MS SQL Server Significant expertise with Active Directory systems supporting a homogeneous, multi-site and multi-forest environment. Intermediate knowledge of Linux-based systems and scripting tools including Python, PERL, bash, sed, awk. Hands-on experience with SolarWinds, SCOM, MRTG or similar software. Experience with Dell, Cisco and NetApp enterprise equipment. Experience with TCP/IP-based LANs, ISCSI, NFS and FCP SANs, VPNs and Firewalls. Experience with patch management. Able to provide technical and professional leadership, guidance and training to others. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Education
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field or equivalent experience.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
