Have successfully completed a degree in biological sciences, agriculture, natural resource management, chemistry, or related disciplines appropriate to this position. Experience:
Possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05 level, or higher, in the Federal service. Specialized experience demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform successfully the duties of a Biologist. Specialized experience is having at least 3 of the following:
performing native plant material collection activities; performing native plant propagation activities in the greenhouse/nursery setting; conducting vegetation biological surveys in remote or backcountry locations; coordinating logistics of field work activities, such as scheduling, equipment, and transportation; overseeing others in the use of biological survey data collection equipment and techniques; summarizing data for portions of reports in the form of text, graphs, and charts. You must include hours per week worked. Manual and chemical treatments to non-native plants using safe application procedures. -OR- EDUCATION:
Have successfully completed one year (18 semester hours/27 quarter hours) of graduate level education that is directly related to the position such as in Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science, Natural Resources Management, Botany, Chemistry, Agriculture.
