Veterinary Specialty Center of Tucson is seeking a Board Certified/Residency Trained Ophthalmologist to join our team.
VSCOT is a busy Emergency and Specialty hospital which consists of specialists in surgery, internal medicine, neurology/neurosurgery, dermatology, ophthalmology, radiology, and dentistry in an award-winning, state-of-the-art facility.
Our specialists, emergency doctors, and interns take a one hospital approach together with our experienced administrative and technical staff to provide the highest quality compassionate health care and service to our patients, pet owners, and referring veterinarians.
Our 32,000 sq.
ft.
hospital was opened in July 2004 and features a separate emergency entrance and lobby, 16 exam rooms, 4 surgical and 1 dental suite, video-endoscopy, mobile and stationary color-flow Doppler ultrasounds, a large central ICU with oxygen cage, Pulmonetics ventilator, Telemetry, portable ultrasound unit, in-house lab, spiral CT scanner, MRI, and digital radiography.
In addition to standard full blood analysis, our in-house lab equipment includes a colloid osmometer, lactatometer, coagulation monitoring (PT/PTT), microscope, and blood typing/crossmatching.
