Brother John's has a large Bavarian inspired outdoor beer garden, a large high ceiling bar and bourbon lounge adjacent to an open floor plan dining room that seats over 200 people.
It also includes an 1,800 square foot completely private dining room separated by 2-14 foot tall custom barn doors complete with AV set up that services a variety of private events for both social and business.
Position SummaryThe Restaurant Manager will work side-by-side with the Chef and other FOH Managers to lead the daily operations of the business.
He/she should have an all around knowledge of Food & Beverage operations as well as knowledge of business financials.
The Restaurant Manager will be accountable for the quality of hospitality, guest satisfaction and the financial health of the restaurant working closely with the rest of the management team and line staff to ensure that the highest service standards are upheld.
Essential FunctionsThis Restaurant Manager will help plan and coordinate the operations of the restaurant by working closely with the Service Director and Bar Manager of Brother Johns BBQ, LLC on a weekly basis.
Together they will ensure that the operational areas are aligned with the mission, vision and core values of Brother Johns BBQ LLC.
This position requires flexibility and a wide range of hospitality, service and business management acumen.
The Restaurant Manager actively embodies, inspires and teaches skills that will elevate the core values and mission of Brother Johns BBQ, LLC and help as we grow and expand restaurants into new markets.
Qualifications- Minimum of 2
years of restaurant management experience in a high volume, detail-oriented and excellence-driven environment- Verifiable experience in managing a minimum of 25 staff members- Food and Beverage pairing- Food safety- Highly motivating and experienced in training- Must love interacting with guests and creating rave reviews- Excellent work ethic and dedication to the hospitality industry- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications- Restaurant scheduling, inventory and purchasing experience- Ability to work full-time (including early mornings, late nights and weekends)- Perform additional duties as directed by Service DirectorCompetencies- Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems efficiently; Gathers and analyzes information; Develops solutions; Uses reason.
