Finance Manager – reporting to the Meridian Engineering company VP of Finance. Responsibilities included cash management, job order costing, managing Payroll, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
November 2007 - March 2010 - Westmed Inc.
Senior Financial Analyst / Standard Cost Accountant reporting to the company CFO. I recreated the standard costing process involving Sage Pro for all manufactured products. Analyzed and reported product standard cost variances. Reported financial results; prepared annual budget, created Excel model used to calculate new product costs, analyzed, and summarized information for financial plans, and presented operating forecasts on a weekly basis to the CFO and company president. I managed the weekly cycle counts and the yearly physical inventories.

Global Solar Energy Inc. (Start-Up Company) - I received several bonuses and award letters for creating standard costing utilizing the IFS software and creating “What IF” Excel formulas that were beneficial to the Manufacturing and R&D VP. I successfully organized and managed the physical inventories for three years.
Loma Catalina LLC -. I took on the acting Controller position for 8 months. I revised the AP payment prioritization process which significantly improved and controlled cash disbursements. Available cash on hand increased by $1 Million (previously it was often in the red).
Evergreen Air Center Inc. - I created a comprehensive cost, revenue and profit forecasting model used by the president to understand and achieve optimum rebalancing of labor and achieved a 21% reduction in controllable expenses. I acted as the company financial contact with the NASA Houston Texas organization and provided timely/accurate reconciliations of the monthly NASA Shuttle 747 repair/maintenance activities.
IBM Corporation - During my association with IBM, I experienced rapid promotions, numerous awards, letters of commendation, and increased levels of responsibility. I received the IBM Cost Effectiveness Award.
