Summary:
The Director Employee Engagement and Culture reports to the Senior Vice President of Human Resources. This role leads shaping employee experiences and cultural strategy to create exceptional employee experiences, fostering an environment where people feel they belong and matter. The role utilizes direct input that informs employee engagement, and relies on both internal and external sources of counsel to shape key moments in the employee lifecycle. This role will support diversity, inclusion & belonging programs and initiatives within region. Will develop and lead Tucson Medical Center's (TMC's) comprehensive strategy that supports employee engagement and retention. Objectives include achieving consistent leadership norms and eliminating leader skills variance across the leadership team. Building organizational resilience and establishes a best place to work environment as recognized across the organization. Will lead TMC's Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access (IDEA) journey. This role partners with all TMC leaders and employees to create a triad focused on TMC's workforce, job satisfaction and engagement. MINIMUM
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree and Master's degree required.
Experience:
Seven (7) years HR experience with three (3) - five (5) years in a culture, engagement and/or employee experience role. Experience is healthcare preferred. LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION:

Excellent communicator and collaborator, with the ability to build trusting relationships and engage and connect with employees across all levels of the organization. Able to connect, advise, and influence leaders. Proven track record of collecting and using data, focused on employee engagement data. Has created and measured impactful strategies and programs based on data insights. Proactive, creative, and innovative. Organized and disciplined with strong project management capabilities.
Essential Functions:
Develops and delivers high-impact leadership, cultural and retention initiatives focused on performance management, team engagement and team retention. Utilizes biannual employee survey data to recognize engagement opportunities, leads manager's action planning, and sustains process by deploying focused surveys to measure improvement. Establishes reward & recognition initiatives that encourages and reinforce behaviors that demonstrate a commitment to TMC's mission, vision and values, patient experience and high reliability goals -- creating a culture of recognition. Collaborates with leaders driving mandatory strategies that assure growth of employee engagement at the operating units and departments resulting in improved retention and engagement. Utilizes data from exit interviews, stay-interviews, leader coaching sessions and new hire meetings to recommend and implement solutions to retention. Acts as a change agent to help leaders address drivers of work related distress, utilizing best practices in change management. Partner with the human resources team, the Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access team, TMC leaders and staff to ensure a culture that is equitable and inclusive . Owns cultural assimilation as it relates to new employees, existing team members and remote staff. Continually improving pre-boarding, on boarding and orientation for leaders and employees. Drives a listening culture and builds feedback mechanisms into employee engagement activities and internal communications to enable employees to have an opportunity for dialogue. Develops employee recognition strategies to include reviewing, evaluating and making recommendations for system and departmental recognition programs. Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
